En las rutinas polimatemáticas, la tecnología es una interveción en un campo de gente, costumbres, organizaciones, otras tecnologías y leyes; complicads e históricamente únicos; en las rutinas transhumanistas, la tecnología se ve como una fuerza inevitable -un producto de la acción humana, pero no de diseño humano- que es imposible de controlar ni resistir por medios legales o de tradición.
